The company will relocate their downtown office to the former E&amp;Y tower in the Flats East Bank. The <a href=\"https:\/\/development.ohio.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ohio Department of Development (ODOD)<\/a> approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today. This opportunity will create 88 new positions in the state and retain 320 current jobs based at Oswald\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The relocation of the leading risk management company will provide a cutting-edge, progressive environment to support the ever-expanding operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor 131 years, Oswald has called the city center its home,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oswaldcompanies.com\/leadership\/robert-j-klonk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oswald Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Klonk<\/a>. \u201cWe are grateful to the many entities that helped us find a new home downtown so we can continue our long-standing commitment to the region\u2019s development and progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A local team consisting of members of the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Downtown Cleveland, Inc., ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO provided the company with information to keep Oswald Companies in the Northeast Ohio Region versus relocating to another region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlong with our local partners, ODOD and JobsOhio, we are pleased that Oswald Companies has decided to keep their headquarters in Northeast Ohio,\u201d stated Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler. \u201dWith our robust, talented workforce of 60,000 financial service professionals, we are sure they will continue to succeed in their new location.\u201d &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community Leaders commented on the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Oswald is a classic Cleveland success story\u2014a company that has been growing and evolving here for more than 131 years.
