Adding 60 new employees to its current staff of 528 in Canton<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ohio Gratings, Inc., an industry leader in metal bar grating design, manufacturing and fabrication has announced plans to grow its operation by adding 60 new employees to its current staff of 528 in Canton. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project involves the addition of new equipment to increase production to address the growing demands for metal grating and flooring products. The new machinery will incorporate in-house designed automation, garnering efficiencies and a safer work environment. By eliminating manual processes, it will also create the demand for higher-paying fabrication jobs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company, which began operations in the Northeast Ohio Region over 50 years ago, credits its dedicated workforce as a key factor in its decision to expand in Canton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ohio Gratings, Inc. received support from an economic development team, including the Stark Economic Development Board, ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO, to facilitate the company\u2019s growth and investment in Stark County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
