Lisa is the practice’s lead medical assistant and chronic care manager. Growing up in Burton, Lisa enjoys giving back to her community. Lisa worked for many years as a paramedic and this training has made her an excellent clinical resource for our patients. As our lead medical assistant Lisa is responsible for managing medication refill requests and ordering supplies. She can be found rooming patients, obtaining vitals, collecting bloodwork, or acting as a liaison for patients. Lisa manages our Chronic Care Management program. When she’s not working, Lisa enjoys scrapbooking, football, photography and spending time with her family. She loves Michigan football.
Amber was raised in Middlefield and has been with the practice for 10 years. She is a Licensed Social Worker and serves as the practice’s office manager. This position requires Amber to wear multiple hats, working in both the clinical and administrative function of the practice. Not only is she involved in the day to day clinical care of patients, she is also the go-to person for the office’s medical billing. Her background in social work offers Amber a unique perspective to patient care and care coordination which our patients greatly appreciate. In her spare time, Amber enjoys cooking, Zumba, and spending time with her husband, daughter and their numerous pets.
Theresa Miller has been with the practice for 9 years. She is our practice’s Administrative Assistant and is the go-to person for the clerical and administrative function of the office. You can find Terri answering phones, working on medical billing, or completing many other administrative tasks. She is also the main contact and manager of our Corporate Health accounts. Terri’s easy going, optimistic demeanor is appreciated by our patients. In her spare time Terri enjoys shopping, traveling and entertaining friends and family. She is a phenomenal Italian cook!
Brooke Hoffman is our newest team member, joining the practice in May 2019 as our Medical Receptionist. She brings to our team a wealth of knowledge and experience in customer service. Brooke enjoys getting to know our patients and her friendly face is the first one you see upon walking through our door. In her free time Brooke enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
Tricia Mares grew up in Middlefield and graduated from Cardinal High School in 2014. She joined our practice in 2017 after graduating from Fortis College with a degree in Medical Assisting. Tricia enjoys the clinical care of patients and is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, completing office testing, and drawing blood. For fun, Tricia enjoys hunting, kayaking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a big Cleveland Indians fan.
